1. Hj Samuil carded a gross score of 86 and nett 72 to win the BMMJ February MM OCB from new BMMJ member Hj Abd Rahim at the RBA GC. Aided by a new (nda mau bagitau) "Senior" driver Cleveland 12.5 deg (Launcher?) ordered online from Edwin Watts. Congrats to Jang Sam and with this win moves him to the top of the pops. Jang Sam new handicap is now 13.
According to Jang Sam when I asked him which of the Cleveland drivers he bought HIBORE XLS or Launcher? "Emmm antah... Yang Baru" sengaja nda mau bagitau or Jang Sam having one of his blonde moments... emm i think now kes kedapatan tua.. But anyway, manang jua olehnya... Kitani bah tu..
2. Well known DRM member and now also BMMJ golfer, Hj Abd Rahim stormed to a gross 94 and nett 72 to finish runner up. Based on this weekend's performance, I am sure he will challenge strongly for the title.
3. Berlayar ke Bangkok mencari kain,
Ta jumpa Jang Manan sama bininya,
Kalau sudah tau nada visa kan main,
Bagitau awal jangan kami tertanya-tanya.
4. Hj Sufri Sulaiman DOP & Hj Rahim Matusin HLD joined the tournament and automatically become members of BMMJ. Please join me in welcoming them.
5. Hj Samuil, Yusof Johan and Hj Rahim recorded birdies on #2, #3 & #4. Many congrats on this achievement. Main umban kali eh... hehe
6. Jang Sam secret will be outed soon...
7. BMMJ upcoming games
a. 13 Feb - BMMJ official game, venue PMGC (tentative)
b. 23 Feb - Saney Halim farewell (Pls contact Hj Zairin for details)
c. 24 Feb - Thailand trip (Jang Shahbudin, Jang Manan, Kap Amir, Jang Latif, Yoi Hj Ibrahim BGC & Bahreen)
d. 7 Mac - BLNG golf farewell for Abd Latif
e. 13 Mac - March MM and Abd Latif farewell
8. Hj Samuil - 13
Abd Walid - 36
Abd Latif - 32
Although most members voiced their opinion during lunch that Hj Rahim should also be reduced by a stroke as he also scored a nett 72, I felt that it would not in the spirit of the group. In addition, he did finish runner-up and being a new member of the group felt that it was a bit harsh. Hence, I would propose that his handicap remains 22.
Personal note: Win against Jang Budin, draw lawan GY but loss to Jang Sam and Yoi Zairin (after 7/7 ohh..)
