No more ATM ohh.. 2011 is recovery time...ketahuan ya!!!
Bahreen: Eh yoi..kan jadi "Pro Kampong Singapore" ni?.. good luck.. G2 and Zairin better watch out...

Happy Birthday Jack

Golf legend Jack Nicklaus celebrated his 70th birthday last Friday. I grew up watching vidoes and VCD's of him. When I first started playing, I basically tried to copy his swing although sometimes with mix results! Anyway, he remains a big influence on my swing and putting even today.
Best wishes to Jack on this great milestone.

Harrington's DQ at Abu Dhabi
The sport of golf has always been a gentlemen's game. It is a game of integrity, sportmanship and above all to adhere to the rules of the game. However, I feel the Harrington incident is very harsh and raises the questions whether the armchair umpires should be allowed to make such a call.
Yes we need to protect the game and yes this is why golf is unique. But submitting an incorrect score should be because the player KNOWINGLY altered or ignored a penalty stroke on him/herself. Its a shame that Harrington ended his tournament this way and poor him as this was his second time he's had problems on the green. Remember his ball move when he was about to putt two or three years ago?
How unlucky could a guy be?

Rained out Sang Jati Classic - Panaga GC
The Sang Jati Classic was postponed again today due to heavy rain that started to pour from 4pm on Saturday the 16th. This is the second time it was postponed as the initial date of 19th Dec was also washed out.
Even today, rain hasnt stopped and looks as though the next few days will have the same outlook.

Sat game: Pak Presiden let his clubs do the talking with personal best 82, abis semua sapu bersih
1. Hj Shahbudin hit form with 82 gross
2. Soggy fairways at RBA
3. Hj Zairin trash talk backfire / Pinang tree saves Bahreen both on 17th
4. Hj Rahim is part time ahli nujum, Bahreen becomes victim
1. Hj Shahbudin set a personal best 82 gross / 64 nett (7 under par) at RBA GC today to happily collect the spoils of war from everybody. No handicap reduction though as there was not enough quorum despite strong protest from G2.
2. Heavy rain over the last three days made the RBA fairways soggy. Cant believe RBA allowed buggy on course. No school..
3. Hole 17th is famous among BMMJ folklore as where players "Make" or "Break" their round. And today was no different. Hj Zairin and Hj Samuil were apparently neck to neck when they reached the 17th.
Then Hj Zairin tried to pyscho Hj Samuil with all sorts of trash talk.. make or break lah.. this is it lah.. Anyway, Hj Samuil who hit first put his tee shot in the drink.
The rest of the players especially Hj Dua nda dapat menahan ketawa sampai begagar buggy sambil makan.
Hj Zairin's turn was next. He also went in and ended up with a score of ELEVEN. Tarus sanyam, nada bunyi after that.
On the other hand, my tee shot on 17th was heading into OB until.. the ball hit one of the pinang trees lining the cart path to the right and brought it back on the fairway.. Selamat.. selamat.. Divine intervention from the almighty..
4. Bahreen became the latest victim of Hj Rahim's ramalan on the green. I think i know what to do next time. Must put Hj Amir in the same flight baru dapat equalize the "threat". Otherwise, i could have easily played 78/79 today instead of 82. Ada tu karang...

The season starts with the Winners only opener at the tough Eastwood valley GC. There will be seven players competing for the coveted title while five players will be as NQ. BMMJ Champion Mohd Yunos the only notable player not joining.
So what will 2011 bring for the players? Will Yunos be able to defend his title? Will Pg Joanda, BMMJ newest member set the benchmark? Or will season veteran Orang Pencen have enough stamina, reliability and length to be able to compete in the long BMMJ season? All these ingredients would appear to make this 2011 another exciting competition for all.
