Bangkok floods

Bangkok Thailand is one of BMMJ's favourite golfing destination. Unfortunately, heavy rain in the outskirts and nearby towns have resulted in flood water moving towards the area north of Bangkok (Ayuthya)

Yesterday, the government have announced that the flood will reach Bangkok by Friday 28th Oct. Reports suggest that Bangkok Golf Club, Pinehurst and courses in Northern Bangkok have closed or will soon close as pre-caution.

Therefore, our condolences to our Thai friends. I think we need to help them overcome this huge disaster by playing golf here sometime early next year.

MC Trophy

A few BMMJ players competed in the 24th MC trophy held at the Empire Hotel CC

A few of us manage to get a few days R & R in Jakarta and sneak in three rounds.

Well done guys but most unexpected was Pg Ali and Mohaimin who were both "discounted" from challenging for the honours..
