GY in action @ RBGCC Sunday Game
Apologies for the delay in posting
Date: 13 Nov 2011
Venue: RBGCC, Jerudong
Players: Hj Shahbudin, Hj Md Yusof Taufik, Yusof Johan, Yunos Abdullah, Walid Taufik & Bahreen
Pool Winner: Bahreen

Scores (Gross)
Bahreen: 81
Yunos: 93

Hj Shahbudin: 103
Hj Md Yusof: 103

The game also witnessed two incidents currently under investigation
1. Lamp Post - Un-confirmed reports that an MOU was signed between all RBGCC lamp posts and our President Hj Shahbudin. His ball was heading towards the jungle on #17 when it hit the lamp posts and bounced back nicely to the fairway.
2. Kes Ketaguran - GY menagur when i decided to use a 3W instead of a driver on #6. I layed up nicely in position for a simple 9 iron to the green. Then it was GY's turn with his driver which he subsequently put into the very thick rough just in front of the tee box.

Barclays Singapore Open: The World comes to Singapore

Was at Sentosa last weekend visiting Universal Studios with the family. Could not help notice/banners along the bridge and roads leading to Sentosa welcoming players and all to the Barclays Singapore Open.
Unfortunately, not likely to go and watch but I could be around the country for the Iskandar Open next week..

Bangkok floods
Bangkok Thailand is one of BMMJ's favourite golfing destination. Unfortunately, heavy rain in the outskirts and nearby towns have resulted in flood water moving towards the area north of Bangkok (Ayuthya)
Yesterday, the government have announced that the flood will reach Bangkok by Friday 28th Oct. Reports suggest that Bangkok Golf Club, Pinehurst and courses in Northern Bangkok have closed or will soon close as pre-caution.
Therefore, our condolences to our Thai friends. I think we need to help them overcome this huge disaster by playing golf here sometime early next year.
